Mr Geza Kordas MD PhD FRCS

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr Kordas has over 20 years experience in orthopaedics with a special interest in hip and knee surgery. He completed a fellowship in joint replacement surgery at the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire and has been working as an NHS and private consultant in the UK since 2011. He held a consultant post at Oxford University Hospitals between 2013-19 and since leaving, he has been working exclusively in the private sector. He has a keen interest in the latest technologies that bring real benefits for patients such as minimally invasive surgery, customised implants and digital therapeutics.

He is the author of several peer-reviewed articles on aspects of hip and knee surgery and lectured internationally on these topics. He holds a PhD in cartilage research.

He is registered with the GMC and currently practices both at Budapest Orthopaedics and the Cherwell Hospital, Banbury, Oxfordshire.

Dr Szabolcs Rugonfalvi-Kiss MD PhD

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Rugonfalvi is a consultant anaesthetist and co-head of inpatient services at Wáberer Medical Centre. He is also the head of Anaesthetics at the Central Military Hospital in Budapest. He worked as a Consultant in Intensive Care and Anaesthetics in Weston-super-Mare between 2012-17 and served as Clinical Lead in Intensive Care.

Dr Rugonfalvi is a specialist in orthopaedic anaesthesia and pain management including ultrasound guided nerve block techniques which provide excellent pain relief during and after surgery. He organises and teaches on difficult airway and major trauma management courses and has a special interest in patient safety.

Dr Rugonfalvi gained a PhD degree for his research on the role of hereditary factors in coronary artery plaque growth and holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) and the European Diploma in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care examination (DESA).

Dr Tamás Vető MD FRCA (Engl)

Consultant Anaesthetist

Dr Vető is a consultant anaesthetist and co-head of inpatient services at Wáberer Medical Centre. He is also a consultant at the Central Military Hospital in Budapest. He trained as a senior house officer and specialist registrar in the Bristol deanery between 2004-10 and became a fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 2007.

He is registered with the GMC and regularly visits the Bristol Royal Infirmary where he holds a locum consultant post.

Dr Vető is a specialist in orthopaedic anaesthesia including ultrasound guided nerve block techniques which provide excellent pain relief during and after surgery. He is the convenor of difficult airway and major trauma management courses and also has a special interest in patient safety.

Dr Vető holds the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) and he is an examiner of the European Intensive Care Society (European Diploma of Intensive Care Medicine).
